Spike LeeHTCMLI will honor Spike Lee with the Paul Robeson "Here I Stand" award at the Historic Lincoln Theatre, Saturday, 4 June 2011.

Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster or the Lincoln Theatre box office for $28.50 (Mon-Fri 10am-6pm).

Mr. Spike Lee, award winning director, will be presented with the 2011 Paul Robeson "Here I Stand" award by the Hung Tao Choy Mei Leadership Institute.

Mr. Lee will be interviewed live on stage at the Historic Lincoln Theater in Washington, DC by Mr. George Curry, columnist and former Editor-in-Chief of EMERGE MAGAZINE.

Urban ArtistrySpecial performances by Urban Artistry, Hung Tao Choy Mei "Lucky Lions and Thunder Drummers", International Martial Arts sensation Olivia Zhang and harmonicist Frederic Yonnet.

Past honorees have been Harry Belafonte, Dick Gregory, Dr. John Hope Franklin, Judith Jamison, and Rita Moreno.
